Galaxy Note20 Ultra 5G is a high-end smartphone, just introduced by Samsung at a special event on August 5. The product is priced at 32.99 million VND (in the Vietnamese market, or 1,299 USD in the US market), however, it is worth mentioning that Samsung has cut the accessories that come with the product when sold to the market. .

Accordingly, for users in the US, when buying Galaxy Note20 Ultra 5G will not be included with wired headphones (connected via USB-C port). This is an indispensable accessory that came with previous Samsung smartphones, but it is difficult to understand that with high-end smartphones such as the Galaxy Note20 Ultra 5G, Samsung removed this accessory.

The Samsung representative later confirmed to tech site PhoneArena that all versions of the Galaxy Note20 and Note20 Ultra sold in the US do not include headphones.

To explain this decision, Samsung said that more and more users are owning their own wireless headphones, so it is not necessary to equip a headset accessory in the product’s case. However, if users ask, they can still get free wired headphones when purchasing the Galaxy Note20 and Note20 Ultra.

“We no longer supply wired headphones in the case for high-end smartphones in the North American market. More and more users are choosing wireless headphones to suit their preferences, and the use of wired headphones has declined. For users who still love wired headphones, our customer care department can still provide them on request, ”said a Samsung representative.

In addition to not providing headphones, the Galaxy Note20 and Note20 Ultra sold in the US market are not included with transparent cases like previous high-end smartphone versions of Samsung.

In Vietnam, Galaxy Note20 and Note20 Ultra are still sold with wired headphones, but the transparent back cover attached to the product has been reduced. It seems that the Galaxy Note20 Ultra is equipped with Gorilla Glass Victus that is capable of withstanding a drop from a height of 2 meters without breaking, making the case no longer necessary.

Technology page PhoneArena said Galaxy Note20 and Note20 Ultra sold in the Korean market will be bundled with all accessories, including headsets and transparent protective cases.

It seems that cutting down the unnecessary accessories that come with the Galaxy Note20 and Note20 Ultra duo could help Samsung save significantly on production costs and increase the profitability of each product sold, but what? This can leave many users dissatisfied.
