Before this match, Liverpool fans received good news when the Firmino striker returned to his normal training with the team during yesterday’s training session. The Brazilian striker was absent in the last three Premier League games and the Champions League second leg against Barcelona because of a hamstring injury.

However, Firmino seems to have won the race against time to recover in time for the final match of the Champions League this season.

Firmino’s recovery process has been closely watched by Liverpool’s medical team and they have allowed the 27-year-old striker to attend the team’s training sessions.

This will be good news for Liverpool when Firmino is an important factor on coach Klopp’s attack. This season, despite the injury, but the Brazilian striker has scored 16 goals and has 8 passes on all fronts.
