Illumination Entertainment has just revealed the official name of the Minion 2 animated film . The studio has officially accepted the upcoming movie Minions: The Rise of Gru and will be in theaters next summer 3/7/2020. The film will be released on the 4th of July, the US National Day. It is known that this time Minions and Gru will face off against Ryan Reynolds’s new work called Free Guy .

Currently, Illumination has not revealed too much information about this new work. However, the title of the film offers a scenario when the villain Steve Carell of the Despicable Me movie that Minions once surrendered returned.

The Minions and Gru’s boss are grumpy but not convinced by the film reviewers but attract audiences of all ages. The entire Despicable Me franchise has earned $ 3.5 billion for Illumination worldwide. Only the film that made up for three children Minions Kevin, Stuart and Bob brought in $ 1.15 billion worldwide and ranked in the top 20 most loved films.

Even so, the studio has not decided who will be in the position of director and writer for the animated film that is loved by the whole world.
