According to CNBC , Mikaila Ulmer is only 14 years old, but has a lot of experience in the market. Ulmer’s Me & the Bees Lemonade sold 1 million bottles of bile lemon juice to 1,000 stores across the US over the past 10 years, including major retailers like Whole Foods and Macy’s.

Joining Shark Tank in 2015, Ulmer received an investment of $ 60,000 to expand its business. She became famous and became a speaker at business conferences.

It is not easy for a teenager who is still completing the learning process. However, Ulmer proved to others that age is not a barrier.

"No matter how old you are, you always have something to learn. And no matter how old you are, you always have something to teach. At that time, the Ulmer family received a cookbook from her great-grandmother. In the book, there is a recipe for making lemon juice and flax seeds. Ulmer decided to buy honey from some local beekeepers to "help bees".

That fall, Ulmer’s parents encouraged her to bring her honey lemonade to a children’s business competition in Austin, Texas. Ulmer’s honey lemon juice made a fever at the competition and her family decided to establish a business facility Me & the Bees Lemonade.

Ulmer’s parents all study business and guide her to expand Me & the Bees Lemonade’s activities.

Me & the Bees Lemonade recently released a new line of beeswax lip balm. In 2017, Ulmer established a Healthy Hive non-profit organization to implement honey bee research, education and protection projects.

Me & the Bees Lemonade also donated 10% of profits to bee conservation groups.

But Ulmer doesn’t stop there. In addition to studying, the 14-year-old takes the time to manage her business, travel, attend presentations and devise new product ideas.
