Scott C waring has resumed posting on his website ufosightingsdaily.com four months after quitting.

Mr Waring had been highlighted by UFO hoax busters on a number of online blacklists after making a series of outlandish claims that he had found a menagerie of Earth-like wild animals in images of the Red Planet taken by the NASA Curiosity rover droid which is scouring the Martian surface.

These included objects in the images Mr Waring claimed were a bear, monkey, giant mouse, baboon, crabs,and even tiny alien beings.

In his first post since returning, dated September 12, Mr Waring said it would only be a part-time venture now.

He said: "Many readers asked me to come back, so every now and then I will make a post."

He went on to claim he had uncovered a jellyfish out of water on a rocky surface.

He blogged: "I found this jellyfish like spider today in a Mars photo.
