Although not very successful in the first version, it is Royole that is the manufacturer that launched the world’s first foldable smartphone, ahead of both Samsung and Huawei.

Recently, this Shenzhen-based company continues to launch its second generation of foldable smartphones - the Flexpai 2.

The difference of the Flexpai is still maintained on the 2nd generation - it is the screen that is capable of folding back out, instead of the design folding inwards like a book by Samsung Galaxy Fold.

In the announcement of the new product launch, Royole calls his display technology ’Cicada Wing 3S’, claiming that the screen doesn’t leave "wrinkles" after 180 folds.

The folding ability of the Royole Flexpai 2 is significantly improved.

In unfolded mode, Flexpai 2 will still own a 7.8 inch screen with a 4: 3 aspect ratio. When closed, the device becomes a smartphone with a 5.5-inch screen with 16: 9 aspect ratio and a sub-screen of 5.4 inches with 16:10 aspect ratio.

The impressive point is that Flexpai 2 owns 4 cameras including a 64MP main camera (aperture f / 1.9, size 1 / 1.72), a 16MP wide-angle camera, an 8MP telephoto camera with 3x optical zoom and a camera. 32MP supports selfies and "portraits".

In terms of specifications, Flexpai 2 owns the power of Snapdragon 865 processor, 8 / 12GB LPDDR% RAM, optional 256 / 512GB UFS 3.0 internal memory and 4450mAh capacity battery, support charging 18W fast

It is expected that Royole Flexpai 2 will be sold from 9,988 yuan (equivalent to 34.2 million) for the 8GB / 256 version. 12GB / 512GB version will cost 11,588 yuan (about 39.7 million).
