The extremely rare Nazi diaries reveal billions of dollars of treasure
There could be billions of dollars worth of Nazi treasures under a 16th-century palace in Poland.

The diary was written by a Nazi officer named Michaelis, the Polish news site The First News (TFN) reported.

It contains the plans of Heinrich Himmler, who wanted to hide the priceless artworks, artifacts and other wealth that the Nazis had stolen during the war.

The diary contains a map of 11 different locations where the Nazis hide their wealth, including a 16th-century castle near Roztoka, Poland. The researchers predict the treasure may have a total of more than 30 tons of gold. Gold is rumored to lie on the bottom of a well deeper than 60 meters below the castle called Hochberg.

Before that, the diary was kept for many years by a motel called Masonic in Quedlinburg, Germany, which was frequented by Nazi officers. Among them was Michaelis, the author of the diary. In 2019, the hostel sent the most signed book back to the Silesian Bridge Foundation as an apology for World War II.

Roman Furmaniak, the leader of the Silesian Bridge Foundation, told TFN that he believed the location in Roztoka was the first of the 11 hidden locations mentioned in the log.

"Based on the instructions, I believe the well is within the palace grounds," Furmaniak said.

Meanwhile, Magdalena Tomaszewska, representative of the Polish Ministry of Culture and National Heritage, said the authenticity of the diary has not been confirmed.

In addition to the map, Furmaniak said there were additional documents in the diary, including those suggested after the Nazis illegally seized the valuable item, witnesses were killed and their bodies. thrown into the well, explosives are used to seal the entrance.

For now, the owner of the Hochberg Palace will restore the forgotten building for many years. As restoration work continues, there will be a search for a buried well.

Earlier, Nazi artifacts in recent years were also found in some other places. A bust of Nazi leader Adolf Hitler along with a Nazi flag, several other documents and items from World War II, was found in the basement of the French Senate in November. 9 2019.
