The task force had to intervene to take a 2-year-old lion out of a block in the state of Lagos, Nigeria last Friday (November 15).

The owner of this animal must report it to the police, or it may be arrested.

The lion, thought to have been brought to the building two months ago, is now being transported to the Bogije Omu zoo in the city of Lekki in Lagos state, according to BBC records.

Officers from Nigeria’s Special Unit for Sanitation and Handling of Special Violations found the animal after receiving complaints from people living in the area.

The teachers at the elementary school, opposite the apartment building, said they were worried about the safety of the students.

African lions have been distributed over most of the continent and parts of the Middle East, including Afghanistan, Turkey and Syria.

But now, the number of individuals of this species has decreased significantly and most of them can now be found scattered across countries in eastern and southern Africa.

According to statistics from the animal conservation organization WGS in Nigeria, the number of lions surviving in this country now only over 50, and most are found at two locations Kainji Lake National Park and Park. Yankari nature reserve.
