According to Engadget , Weisler will continue to serve on HP’s board of directors until the next annual shareholder meeting.

Speaking of resignation, Weisler said: “Being HP’s CEO is the highlight of my career and I want to thank the entire HP team for the support they have brought me. I am extremely proud of what we have achieved and no less confident when we are looking forward to the future ”.

According to Weisler, Enrique is a prominent figure in the leadership role, which has been successful and fulfills the goals set by HP. Weisler believes Enrique has the ability to lead and inspire the transformation and growth goals that HP aims for.

Weisler led HP in a difficult time for both the company and the global computer market. He took over as CEO in 2015 when the company divided into two divisions: a sale of computers; a sale of computer servers, data storage devices and services for corporate IT departments. That same year, global PC sales also suffered the worst decline in history.

Enrique Lores joined HP as an intern 30 years ago and led the enterprise printing company since 2015. The company said Lores are making a global as‌sessment of strategic and operational business HP’s business . He will present the content to investors in October.
