Accordingly, Ordinary guests are allowed to carry a hand baggage including accessories with a total weight of up to 12 kg (previously a piece of 7 kg), Special guests and Merchants are allowed to bring 2 pieces of luggage hands include accessories with a total weight of up to 18 kg (formerly 2 packages per 7 kg package).

With checked baggage, Economy class passengers are allowed to bring a 23 kg package on domestic flights of Vietnam, Northeast Asia, Europe, Australia and 2 packages of 23 kg on Japanese and American routes.

The Business Class of the airline will be entitled to a free baggage allowance of 32 kg on domestic flights in Vietnam, Southeast Asia and up to 2 bales of 32 kg on the routes of Northeast Asia, Europe, Australia and Europe. America.

Special class guests enjoy the standard of 2 bales of 23 kg on the routes of Northeast Asia, Western Europe, Australia and the Americas. Particularly on the Hanoi - Ho Chi Minh City route, the special Economy class with the equivalent standard of Business class is a 32 kg package.

According to Vietnam Airlines, passengers who have bought tickets before the effective time of the baggage policy will still enjoy the standard baggage allowance as before.

The airline said the conversion to the baggage package would unify Vietnam Airlines’ policies with major airlines, thereby creating favorable conditions for connecting passengers on other airlines.
