The physical store is where Epic Games’ main revenue is created to help Fortnite be free on all platforms, but there has been a major flaw in their system.

Currently Fortnite players can simply buy skins and other items without confirmation, resulting in some players losing their V-buck for unwanted items, especially when they choose skin. The only way to return today’s unwanted items is through the refund function. However, this function is limited to 3 times and many players have used up 3 times of them.

Fortunately, Epic Games has confirmed that an "item return" button will be added to the store, meaning that any item you purchase in the store can be returned without losing any any charge for five minutes.

A vice president of Epic Games, Daniel Vogel confirmed on Reddit that this feature will be added to the game in v9.10 update. There has not been any information about the time of the new update, but the patches are usually released on Tuesday, and it is likely that the "return item" feature will be added on May 21.

The old refund system will still work as usual but this new feature will provide an essential safety solution for players who accidentally buy the wrong items from the store.
