From 6/5, Google will officially introduce the as‌sistant platform in Vietnam. In the Google invitation revealed "Google as‌sistant can begin to understand, listen, and speak Vietnamese".

This feature has actually been released since 2016, but the Vietnamese update has only recently been added. Similar to Google Now, Google as‌sistant can identify users’ requests via voice, but the feature is not limited to search capabilities, but can also respond to voice users.

Google as‌sistant can as‌sist users in finding, scheduling, booking events, alarm timer and adjusting hardware settings on user devices and displaying information from users’ Google accounts. Other convenient functions are also available, support for product purchase and money transfer. In addition, Google as‌sistant can access the device’s Camera to identify image objects.

In addition to Google as‌sistant, the "virtual as‌sistants" of reputable technology companies in the world today also include Siri of Apple, Microsoft’s Cortana or Amazon’s Alexa. But the Google as‌sistant is the first as‌sistant who can speak Vietnamese.
