Some churches and hotels in Sri Lanka’s capital, Colombo, on April 21 experienced horrific explosions while Catholics began the Easter season, according to AFP, a confirmation from the police.

At least 80 people were injured during the ceremony at two churches in Colombo.
"There have been 80 people hospitalized and expected to have more victims," AFP quoted an unnamed official at the Colombo National Hospital.
The police said exploded churches were north of the capital city and in Negombo town, on the outskirts of Colombo.
Many people were injured when attending Easter Mass at the church
The cause of the incident is unknown.
"Our church was attacked, please come and give a hand if you have relatives here," according to the Church of St. Sebastian’s Church in Katuwapitiya district, Negombo town.
Only about 6% of Sri Lanka’s population is Catholic.
