Jude , he was one of those puppies, for over two years he waited for a family at the shelter to bring him home and make him feel perfect.
Jude is six years old.
However, time passed and Jude was already losing hope of feeling the warmth of home , having such a crooked nose only caused rejection by potential adopters . After a long wait, the puppy finally met a couple who, without wasting time, fell completely in love with him.
After the arrival of Hurricane Dorian, the shelter where she was located needed many caregivers for her puppies, so Jennifer Moore and Joseph Carver came to help .
For its new owners, the defect in its nose is the least important.
Very soon they realized that what started as something temporary would become the most beautiful of family adventures.
The couple discovered that Jude was the perfect match and after all the hurricane happened they decided to adopt him and keep him forever.
The puppy toured several shelters in the country with the intention of being adopted.
Long ignored at the shelter, Jude is now a celebrity in the area where they live .
Every time they go for a walk people point him out and want to know about his strange physical appearance and the reason for his crooked nose. Jennifer comments on this:
“We have no idea why Jude looks that way, but his nose doesn’t seem to affect him at all, he’s perfectly healthy.”
Big Dog Ranch Rescue informed the couple that the pup had traveled across the country in an effort to find him a home , but no one was interested in the pup because of his crooked nose.
It wasn’t until the young couple appeared and they saw in Jude a perfect puppy not because of how he looks but because of his ability to conquer the heart with the most tender canine essence.
The couple have two other puppies, Lyric and Banjo, who were also rescued.
Jude not only found loving parents but new furry siblings with whom he has hours of fun.
Luckily this puppy managed to find a family that accepts him as he is , now he is happy with the family he had always hoped for.
Jude is now a happy and grateful little dog.
We wish more people could follow Jennifer’s example and be motivated to adopt abandoned puppies who look different but share the same desire to feel loved and enjoy a family.
Usually we are all different. Please don’t stop sharing this story in your network and be encouraged to make a difference by changing the life of a vulnerable puppy.
