Right after the Bucks suffered the 118-108 humiliation in Game 2 of the NBA Finals, Perkins quickly blasted coach Mike Budenholzer and his squad for being the “dumbest” team in the history of the NBA Finals. He emphasized the “disturbing” way the team plays, while also showing clips about the lack of leadership and their failure to take advantage of simple mismatches that have been frustrating to watch.

For what it’s worth, Giannis Antetokounmpo has been great for the Bucks, especially in Game 2 when he finished as the lone player on the Bucks to post a positive plus-minus box score rating. He tallied 42 points, 12 rebounds, four as‌sists, one steal and three blocks in a losing effort.

However, Kendrick Perkins is not lying when he said the Bucks have been disturbing to watch. He makes a good point saying that Milwaukee is not playing like a championship-caliber team given the easy mistakes they are committing.

That difference is further highlighted by the fact that the Suns are thriving with Chris Paul handling the playmaking duties and Devin Booker staying hot offensively and smartly dissecting the offense to get the best possible shot.

The Bucks have a chance to bounce back as the series shifts to Milwaukee, but they know very well they can’t afford to lose Games 3 and 4 since it could spell doom to their championship aspirations.
