The repatriation flight of 180 French people from Wuhan (China) landed at a military airport in Istres on January 31. These citizens were taken to the Carry-le-Rouet resort for isolation within 14 days by a decision of the French Ministry of Health.

Their place is an isolated resort located in the middle of a pine forest on the beach, more than 3 km from the town of Carry-le-Rouet and about 30 km from the port city of Marseille, along the Mediterranean.

According to the information, the resort owns 140 rooms with full facilities, a swimming pool and a beach exit, located in a 3-hectare park complex.

During the isolation of the corona epidemic, people living here were allocated separate rooms. They are monitored for health and can take walks on the premises of the tourist population. A mask is also an item attached to them every day.

The AFP reports that twice a day, nurses will take a person’s temperature and check their symptoms for the earliest signs of acute pneumonia.

On the first morning in the quarantine area, some people get up early to catch the dawn. Others sit outdoors in mild, comfortable temperatures and the rest explore the interior of the resort.

Inside the resort is a volleyball play area for teenagers, an art class for toddlers and a space for adults to relax by a cup of coffee. All make this quarantine more like a resort than ever.

"The French government chose to make the isolated people as comfortable as possible. It must be a pleasant place because people will have to live 14 days here," the senior French official said in an interview. .

No one currently in this quarantine area has symptoms of nCoV infection. The medical team caring for them consists of 20 people, including doctors, nurses and psychologists. The French Gendarmerie was on duty to ensure security and the 30 Red Cross volunteers provided logistical support.
