Recently, on November 16, the second glass bridge was exploited and built in Vietnam and officially opened. Called Rong May, this glass bridge is a part of a tourist area located at the Heaven Gate at the top of O Quy Ho pass, province . Photo: Viet Hoang, BuiQuyet.

To reach the glass bridge, first go to the tunnel in the mountain bed of 70 m long, then step on the 300 m high elevator. During the journey to the top of the mountain, visitors can admire the natural scenery outside. Exit the elevator room, visitors will meet the glass bridge system reaching 60 m from the cliff. The entire Rong May glass bridge is made of transparent tempered glass with a width of about 5 m and a length of 60 m from the elevator’s chamber. Bridge floor is as‌sembled by 3 layers of thick glass, each layer of more than 2 cm glued together with special glue and the total thickness of the glass surface is 7 cm. Standing on the glass bridge, visitors will feel "shaky feet" when just below is the deep hun smoking space. Besides, the experience of eye-catching enjoying the majestic natural scenery of one of the "four great mountain peaks" in the Northwest also left a good impression on visitors. In front of the glass bridge in Lai Chau, the glass bridge of love once attracted the great attention of domestic tourists. The first cable-stayed glass bridge in Vietnam was built in the strip Yem waterfall area, Moc Chau district, Son La province. Photo: Viet Hung.

Opened at the end of April, the bridge is 80 m long, built on a height of 22 m and a width of 2 m. At the time of opening, tens of thousands of people flocked to Moc Chau to experience the bridge, causing overload and chaos. Photo: Viet Hung.

However, the experience on the Moc Chau glass bridge is quite disappointing for visitors. The first glass bridge in Vietnam is not as scary as imagined with a height of only 22 m, the 5D glass effect is not real, when stepped on this place, the glass breaks another point. Not only that, the case of female guests wearing a skirt on Moc Chau bridge was photographed by people below, which sparked a wave of controversy in the online community.
