The incident occurred on August 26 when 27-year-old Timothy Kepke of Hobe Sound went out with a friend, Noah Osborne, 22. According to reports, Ostern caught a crocodile and Kepke deliberately lured it into his hand, pouring beer into the animal’s mouth. No information on the size of the crocodile.
Both were arrested on October 3 for illegally arresting alligators, according to TCPalm . The Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission has appealed to authorities regarding animal abuse. Videos of the incident were recorded and shared.
Kepke admitted to being a man in the video on September 17 but argued that he was drunk while acting. He also assured the police that the crocodile was still alive when he and Ostern released it.
