Mas Jid Khay Ri Yah Cathedral in Nhon Hoi commune, An Phu district is a religious activity of the Muslim Cham (or Cham Islam) community in the locality. This is also one of the tourist attractions when coming to Bung Binh Thien with an area of 200 hectares, one of the largest freshwater lakes in the Southwest region.

The dome of the cathedral with the symbol of the crescent moon and five-pointed star of Islam. In it, the crescent moon represents the Islamic lunar calendar, and the star is a symbol of obedience to the will of Go‌d.

The purification area is on the right of the cathedral. In Islam, before praying, believers must purify themselves by washing their faces, arms, head, ears, feet.

Devotees pray in front of a alcove called Mihrab, which makes a sign toward Mecca in Saudi Arabia. In Vietnam, the Mihrabs are facing west. As a rule, Muslims must pray five times at set times of the day: before sunrise, before noon, late afternoon, evening and before bed.

Architecture below the dome of the cathedral. This place was built in the style typical of Islam: The interior is simple, almost empty, not decorated so that the faithful can focus on praying. In the cathedral there are only rugs instead of seats because the posture is to stand, kneel and prostrate. The only painting on the wall is the Kaaba church in Mecca, Saudi Arabia, where the supposed prophet Mohammed was born.

Beneath the dome of the cathedral is Mas Jid Khay Ri Yah. Most mosques have one or more domes, in Arabic called Qubba, symbolizing the sky dome.

The prayer beads (masbaha) of the followers hung on the wall in the prayer room. The rosary is a tool for believers to memorize and recite 99 names of Go‌d. The rosaries can be made of many different materials such as plastic, wood, ceramic, gemstones ... but all have 99 or 33 beads.

As Na Quy, a Cham ethnic boy with a Muslim headdress. The Cham ethnic community in An Giang currently has more than 17,000 people, according to Islam.

The road in front of the cathedral in the yellow fluorescence season blooms.

Children of Cham people play along Bung Binh Thien in the afternoon, in front of the cathedral. The lake is home to many activities of the local people, from fishing to bathing, washing, playing.

Binh Thien and the mosque are about 30 km north of Chau Doc city, bordering Cambodia.
