Recently, Bphone 3 mobile phone model suddenly appeared on Myanmar television, causing many curiosity for users interested in this product.
Speaking to Zing.vn, Bkav representative receiving Bphone 3 will sell in Myanmar market, through Mytel network (a subsidiary of Viettel in Myanmar).
This move of Bkav is considered a new step to expand the market, while affirming the Vietnamese mobile phone brand with other countries in the region.
"Myanmar is a new and fairly open market. People in this country love high quality Vietnamese products," said Bkav representative. He refused to disclose the selling price of the product as well as expected sales.
Previously, at the end of May, another Vietnamese mobile brand, Vinsmart (of Vingroup), also officially launched Vsmart brand and product in Myanmar.
Bphone 3 was introduced on October 10, 2018 in Hanoi. After more than 8 months of selling in the market, this product has not been able to contribute to the market share statistics of GfK and IDC.
Bkav representative did not disclose the number of machines sold but confirmed product sales were 5-6 times higher than Bphone 2.
Compared to the previous two generations, this model is quite a lot, both in terms of machining, user experience and configuration. It features a screen design with bottom bottom and BOS software interface with many colors and customization. In Vietnam, this model costs 6.99 million for the standard version and 9.99 million for the Pro version.
Compared with the previous two products, Bphone 3 is more complete in both hardware and software.
However, compared to many other products in the same price segment from brands such as Nokia, Huawei, Oppo or Xiaomi, Bphone 3 is more inferior in performance.
Recently, a large retail system in Hanoi began to stop selling Bphone 3. Many sources believe that Bkav will launch its successor device with the name Bphone 4 in August. However, Bkav’s side covers receive this information.
"Bphone 4 is in development stages and finishing products. Time device market debut has not been x.a.c x.a.c decision," the representative told Bkav Zing.vn .
Myanmar is now considered a potential market with a strong growth rate of consumer technology products. Therefore, many phone brands have quickly entered and fierce competition.
