In the capital Jakarta, more than two people died last week and 2,000 people were evacuated from their homes because of floods.
Nationwide, according to Indonesian officials, floods caused by heavy rains last week have left at least 29 people dead and dozens of others still missing.
About 12,000 people were evacuated from Bengkulu province inundated, while hundreds of buildings, bridges and roads were damaged by the floods.
According to the Indonesian Disaster Prevention Agency, the worst hit is Bengkulu Tengah district, just outside the capital of Bengkulu province, where 22 people were killed and hundreds of cattle were washed away by the floodwaters.
Indonesian authorities said they have set up temporary shelters and public kitchens for evacuees from floodplains.
Meanwhile, a landslide caused by heavy rain in Lampung province of Sumatra on April 27 killed a family of 6 and interrupted traffic to neighboring areas.
